There are some days where I allow myself to drown To be swallowed by the sadness

We all have it

Some are just better swimmers

Been keeping my head above water for awhile and I’m proud But today the sadness felt heavier

Lonelier

Sadder

Pulling me deeper and deeper

I couldn’t keep my head above anymore

So I let it pull me in

I let it consume me

Just for a moment I let myself sink and drown I let the sadness in and allowed it to fill my lungs
